Today is our first outdoor match as a team which is very exciting. So many of you on this team have amazing stories of how you travelled here to the UK and this team is our way of welcoming you all into the community and building lasting friendships.
We are all still getting to know each other and we will try our best to make sure everyone gets to take part in the way they want to. We have some great players and we can definitely shock our opponents. If wickets start to fall when we bat, or our bowlers start getting hit for runs - the most important thing is to keep encouraging each other and keep the energy levels high.
A massive thank you to Quoc and St Nic's church for putting this all together and for providing all the kit. But most of all, thank you for being a part of this!
