About Our Team

St Nics & Notts Refugees Cricket Club brings together players from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, united by a shared love of cricket. Our team is a vibrant mix of refugees, asylum seekers, and local community members who play together as one.

Based in Nottingham, we play friendly matches, giving our players the chance to develop their skills, stay active, and represent something they can be proud of.

For many of our players, cricket is a familiar connection to home — a way to maintain cultural ties while building new ones. The friendships formed on the pitch extend far beyond the boundary rope.

Support Us

We believe cricket should be free for refugees and asylum seekers. Cost should never be a barrier to belonging.

We cover all equipment, kit, and match fees so our players can focus on the game and the community — not finances. If you'd like to help us keep cricket free and accessible, whether through sponsorship, fundraising, or donating kit, we'd love to hear from you.
