Good afternoon brothers. Tonight we have another T20 match and after a bit of a break I am really excited for us all to get together as a team again. Over the summer we have established good relationships and a strong team unity and ethics. I'm really proud of this and hope this will continue. We have some new players also and would welcome you to our team.
We've been on a little losing streak but I firmly believe we have some good cricketers - if we play to our potential and execute our skills we will compete well. Let's always be encouraging to each other also.
As we reflect on the season so far and the steps we have taken towards being a strong and encouraging team, I am reminded of one of my favourite verses from the Bible:
The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
As a Christian, I am encouraged by this always as I know God will always hold me up wherever I am and whatever I'm doing.
I hope this encourages you all too brothers.
